Welcome to Anderson's Mainstage Theatre, home of the Madison County Dramatic Players since 1984. Established in 1959, the Madison County Dramatic Players are one of Indiana's longest running community theatre groups.
  Starting with three plays at the Anderson High School auditorium, and then in an outdoor tent, this very talented local group has entertained audiences and educated talent for nearly 50 years. Many members of the Madison County Dramatic Players' family have gone on to perform on Broadway as well as Feature Film.
  The Madison County Dramatic Players strive to be a leader in "Community Theatre" with high quality production values and a variety of entertainment. Each summer the theatre houses several productions between May and September.
